Creditor Representation

Kamini Fox, PLLC works with individuals and businesses who are owed money by debtors located in Nassau County, Suffolk County, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. 

We represent creditors who are being sued or potentially may be sued for monies or property that were transferred to them by or for the benefit of a debtor as allegedly fraudulent transfers or preferences, and in other adversary proceedings in bankruptcy by a trustee, Chapter 11 Debtor in Possession, Committee, or other authorized entity. 

We also represent creditors that need to obtain relief from the automatic stay in bankruptcy, to exercise their rights and options outside of bankruptcy against a debtor; creditors objecting to Chapter 11 or Chapter 13 Plans; creditors who wish to object to a debtor’s discharge or the dischargeability of the debt owed to the creditor by the debtor; and creditors who wish to file claims or need to respond to objections to claims that they have filed.
